Oxford Prep Update December 31, 2009

During the December 10 Board meeting The CVUSD Board of Education voted on a 30-day extension and three requirements. The Board requires that OPA:

• Submit 350 verifiable Intent to Enroll Forms by 1/4/10
• Submit a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding Special Education Services, and
• Submit a MOU regarding Leaves of Absence for Educators resigning their positions to go teach at the charter

The MOUs are legal documents to be drafted by the attorneys. The Intent to Enroll Forms come from the public. From YOU. And come from you they did. On December 18, we handed 544 over to the District. Today, we are just a handful shy of 600! WOW!

This enthusiasm, proactive approach, and loud and clear message that this Charter School is wanted by this community is shown by this effort! Keep them coming!
